The Amazing Valley Challenge — An Adventure for All Ages
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 – 5:00, with a post challenge celebration from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Amazing Northern Shenandoah Race is challenging you to push your limits, discover hidden local gems, and transform the lives of older adults in our community.
This is more than just a scavenger hunt—it’s a mission. Teams of 2-4 will navigate through their choice of 1 or more of the beautiful counties of Clarke, Frederick, Warren, Shenandoah, and Page, plus the historic City of Winchester, completing exciting, brain-boosting tasks along the way. Your mission is to conquer the course while raising critical funds through peer-to-peer fundraising to support Seniors First, the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging.
The funds you raise during this scavenger hunt will ensure this legacy continues by providing:
- Reliable Transportation: Crucial rides to medical appointments that seniors would otherwise miss.
- Nutritious Meals: Home-delivered and congregate meals that are a lifeline against hunger and isolation.
- Engaging Programs: Caring Community and social events that keep minds sharp and bodies active.
- Caregiver Support: Crucial relief and resources for the family members dedicated to their loved ones.
