This year’s valedictorian is Evan Hill, who earned the distinction after an exceptionally close academic race that was reviewed by a third party through ACSI. Hill also set a new school record with 1,900 service hours and received the school’s Legacy of Service Scholarship.
Hill will attend Belmont University, where he has been accepted into the Honors Program and the Mike Curb College of Music and Entertainment.
Sarah Tutton was named salutatorian. She plans to attend Randolph-Macon College, where she will study communications.
James Sackett received the Principal’s Scholarship in recognition of his servant’s heart at school and in the wider community. After graduation, Sackett will enter the United States Marine Corps.
Together, the five graduates earned more than $120,000 in scholarships and grants. The achievement reflects not only their academic preparation, but also their character and commitment to service.
As they move on to college, military service and new opportunities, Dominion Ridge Academy said the graduates carry with them the values of faith, scholarship and service that help define the school community.
Dominion Ridge Academy congratulated the Class of 2026 and said it looks forward to seeing how each graduate uses his or her gifts to make a meaningful impact in the years ahead.
