Memorial Celebration Set for Stephen P. Sill

Published

on

A memorial celebration honoring Stephen P. Sill will be held Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 22 W. 8th St., Front Royal.

Steve passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 70. He and his wife, Maggie, were longtime members of the Front Royal business community, operating Heaven Sent Shoppe and Americana Signs for many years.

Following a 21-year career in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Master Sergeant, Steve continued his public service with the federal government and later retired from the General Services Administration as a Director, GS-15.

In Front Royal, Steve was also active in the Downtown Business Association and helped support community events, including Christkindlmarkt, which became a local holiday tradition.

For catering purposes, those planning to attend the June 7 memorial are asked to R.S.V.P. to Maggie Sill at (540) 622-4564.
