Mary A. Shaw (1958 – 2026)
Mary A. Shaw, 67, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her home.
Mary A. Shaw
Mrs. Shaw was born on October 17, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Charles and Bernadine Moore. She spent years as a stay-at-home mom before returning to the workforce. Her career was in writing, editing, and quality control.
Most recently, she served as a quality director at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). She was a proud member of Mensa and a trained classical pianist. Mary was also an avid reader and loved horses, almost as much as she loved her cats.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Art Shaw; daughter, Lara, and her husband, Jeff Jackson, and her three grandchildren, Cole, Serenity, and Memphis Jackson.
