Kid Saturday Brings Water Games and Family Fun to Bentonville

Published

on

Families looking for a way to cool off this weekend are invited to Kid Saturday at the Izaak Walton League’s Warren County chapter in Bentonville.

The event will be held Saturday, July 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 3364 Gooney Manor Loop. It is open to the public, and all children are welcome.

Because hot weather is expected, organizers are planning a day centered on water play and outdoor fun. Activities will include a sprinkler, squirt guns, bubbles, and time to enjoy the park.

Parents and guardians must remain on the property during the event. They are also welcome to join in the water activities.

Lunch will be provided. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and sweets, along with plenty of water.

Organizers are encouraging families to dress for warm weather and water play. Children may want to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

Kid Saturday is designed as a relaxed community event where children can spend time outdoors, play with others, and enjoy a summer afternoon close to home.

The gathering will take place at the Izaak Walton League, Warren County, Virginia Chapter, located at 3364 Gooney Manor Loop in Bentonville.
