County rezoning and conditional use permit for new warehouse on 522 Corridor

The Warren County Planning Commission held two public hearings on October 9, 2019 concerning the rezoning of property from Agricultural (A) to Industrial (I)  and a special use permit for a building in excess of 50,000 square feet.

Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. is proposing to construct a 324,000 square foot building for a warehouse and distribution facility. They state that they will employ full time, 100 people over 2 shifts. They estimate a 12-14 month build out, beginning in the Spring of 2020. This proposed use is in conformance with the Future Land Use Map.

Public Hearings:

R2019-09-01 – Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. – A request to amend the Warren County Zoning Map and rezone approximately 20.58 acres from Agricultural (A) to Industrial (I). The property is located at 6475 Winchester Road and identified on tax map 4, as parcel 45 in the North River Magisterial District.

B. 2019-09-01 – Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. – A request for a conditional use permit for a building in excess of 50,000 square feet to be located in the Route 340/522 Highway Corridor Overlay District. The property is located at 6475 Winchester Road and identified on tax map 4, as parcel 45 in the North River Magisterial District.
