Mark H. Merrill, President and CEO of Valley Health, said the Quick Care would offer the community “great access to care” and would be perfect for the times when one needed treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.

Town Councilman Jake Meza wore his “other” hat Friday, appearing with Valley Health officials and co-workers to cut the ribbon on the new Quick Care in Royal Plaza. Photo & video/Norma Jean Shaw.

Jake Meza, Director of Valley Health Urgent Care (and a Front Royal Town Councilman), said, “Valley Health Quick Care and Urgent Care centers are strategically located to offer people a convenient, cos-effective treatment of minor illness and injury for those who either don’t have a physician or their physician isn’t available.”

Quick Care will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. Care is provided by Family Nurse Practitioners under the medical supervision of Jillian Rogers, a family medicine provider based at Valley Health Urgent Care in Warren County.
Dr. Rogers said the Quick Care provides fast, cost-effective treatment of cough, cold, earache, sore throat, urinary tract infection, pink eye and more.

While the facility does not have X-Ray capabilities, she said that if a patient needed an X-Ray, he/she would be sent to the Urgent Care, located in Riverton Commons, north of Front Royal. Rogers said a patient sent there would be pre-registered, and could “skip the wait”. All Valley Health Quick Care and Urgent Care centers offer both walk-in and an on-line check-in feature, which helps patients shorten their wait times.

Valley Health Quick Care is located at 415A South Street in Royal Plaza. The phone number: 540-636-0495
