Suzanne H Conner (Sue), 80, of Front Royal, passed away on August 6, 2026.

She was born on July 30 in Port Leyden, NY, to Salmon and Dorothy Hall. Throughout her life, she experienced many seasons, relationships, challenges, and changes that shaped the person she became.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Jackie; her son, Russell P. Madill; her brothers, James and John Hall; and her sisters, Joanne Barbour and Colleen Duffin.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie, and her husband, Kevin; grandsons, Collin, Kaden, and Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews. In her later years, she grew close with friends Richard and Angela Leizear, who treated her like family and will miss her dearly.

Her life touched others in different ways, and each person will carry their own memories of her and the relationship they shared. As her family mourns her passing, they also reflect on the complexities of life, family, and the bonds that connect us.

A private service will be held at Quantico National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne’s memory to America’s Gold Star Families, an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting the families of fallen service members.
