Thermal Shelter – open extra hours during the cold snap
Watch this video to hear a few words from church volunteers about what the experience of hosting the Thermal Shelter means to them. The second interview is of two guests who explain the Thermal Shelter is more than just a warm bed.
Special thanks to Riverton United Methodist Church this past week for allowing the doors of the Thermal Shelter to open early on those brutal cold days. Many Thermal Shelter guests were able to keep warm and safe in otherwise dangerous outdoor conditions.
