Thomas “Leon” Cox (1974 – 2026)
Thomas “Leon” Cox, 52, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Thomas “Leon” Cox
Leon was born on May 22, 1974, in Prince William County, Virginia, to his mother, Mary Elizabeth Coppage Cox, and his late father, Thomas Daniel Cox. Surviving Leon along with his mother, are his siblings, Robbie Cox, Gwen Cooper, and Evan Cox; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Cox, Crystal Goodman (Charles), Jonathan Cox, Jessie Norman (Elenie), Jeremy Davis, Brittany Davis, Amber Cox, Zach Cox, and Cameron Cox; his nieces, Eliana and Enslie; his special cousin, Kent Cox; his numerous great-nieces and nephews and extended family members; and everyone at Helltown Cruisers.
Leon enjoyed car shows as a photographer, and his pride and joy was his truck, “The Cheviac,” which was a work in progress. He really enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his loving nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 12-1 and a funeral service at 1 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia with Pastor Jonathan Fletcher
officiating.
Following all services, the burial will take place at Catlett Methodist Cemetery in Catlett, Virginia.
