Michael Alan Schmiedeknecht (1964 – 2025)

Mr. Michael Alan Schmiedeknecht, 60, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on April 15, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Michael was born on October 26, 1964, in Muskegon, MI, to the late David Alfred and Marie Louise Gill Schmiedeknecht. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Randall Charles Schmiedeknecht.

Mr. Schmiedeknecht was employed in the computer and sports hobbyist businesses. He enjoyed listening to music and following his favorite sports teams.

Surviving Michael are his brother, Terry D. Schmiedeknecht (Jackie); his niece, Kristin Toman (Nathan) and great nephews, Ethan and Owen; his nephews, Jeremy Schmiedeknecht (Amanda) and Stephen Coe (Melanie); his sister-in-law Sandy Dearborn-Schmiedeknecht and numerous extended family members.

As per Mr. Schmiedeknecht’s request, a private gathering will be held for family and close friends to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society of Warren County.
