Four weeks ’til Christmas

Just one short month before the big day! Here’s what you should do this week to make sure you get to Christmas at the same time as everyone else.

To buy
• Holiday outfits for the whole family.
• Holiday greeting cards (you can also make them yourself with your kids).

To do
• Help your children write and send letters to Santa.
• Write and mail your holiday cards.
• Choose toys and clothes that you no longer use to donate — it’ll make room for the presents to come.

To put up
• Indoor decorations — but consider waiting to put up the tree until it’s closer to the big day.

To start
• Watching your favorite Christmas movies (you deserve a break from time to time).
• Preparing holiday dishes that can be frozen; this will save precious time on Christmas day.
