Denise Odell Mathews (1952 – 2025)
Denise Odell Mathews, 73, of Luray, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Skyview Springs Nursing Home.
Denise Odell Mathews
Ms. Mathews was born on May 11, 1952, in Front Royal, Virginia, to the late Elwood and Maxine Campbell Mathews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Miller Mathews and Greg Mathews. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include her two sons, Mathew Williamson and Richard Tyler Williamson; daughter, Carey Ann Williamson; brother, David Mathews; sister, Debbie Long; four grandchildren, Grayson Williamson, Esmé Williamson, Asher Hall, and Waylon Williamson; and best friend, Charlotte Stoots.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 121 East 17th Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
