Fauquier County Fall Farm Tour: Celebrate Virginia’s Agricultural Heritage

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Fauquier County invites everyone to the annual Fall Farm Tour in the scenic Crooked Run Valley. This beloved event is perfect for families and individuals who want to experience the rich farming traditions of Virginia.

Located at the historic Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane, the Fall Farm Tour offers a day full of engaging activities. Guests can enjoy guided tours of working farms, hop on a wagon ride, watch live demonstrations of traditional farm techniques, and listen to local music. There will also be plenty of family-friendly activities that showcase the beauty and bounty of the autumn season.

The event highlights the importance of local farming in Fauquier County and gives visitors the chance to connect directly with farmers, learn about sustainable agriculture, and explore how these practices continue to thrive in Virginia. Sky Meadows State Park is easily accessible at 11012 Edmonds Lane in Delaplane, VA. There is a $10 per car parking fee, and while reservations are not required, they are recommended to ensure a smooth experience.
