Darius Dale Evans (1940 – 2025)

Darius Dale Evans, 84, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Church Community Center, 49 Kendrick Ford Road, Front Royal, with Reava Gardener officiating.

Mrs. Evans was born to the late Robert Tayor and Ida Semones Saul on November 27, 1940, in Coeburn, Virginia.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lee Taylor, and sister, Alma McReynolds.  She retired from the CIA after 25 years of service.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Randle W. Evans of Front Royal; two sons, Tony Evans of Celebration, Florida, and Gary Evans of Front Royal; brother, Bob Taylor of Appalachia, Virginia; sister, Shelia Rose of Peoria, Arizona; three grandchildren, Candice Smallwood of Edinburg, Virginia, Tommy Evans of Edinburg and Tony Evans, Jr. of Celebration; three great granddaughters, Angela Smallwood, Callie Smallwood, and Emily Smallwood all of Edinburg; three nieces and two nephews.
