BOS Majority Library Press Release Lacks Common Sense
Amid a lengthy litany of lies, the Warren County Board of Supervisors Library Press release fails to even mention the quality and cost of the for-profit library they are contemplating.
FOR-PROFIT LIBRARY
- Sucks hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits out of Warren County
- Provides minimal library services
- Costs the Warren County taxpayer more
SAMUELS PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP NON-PROFIT LIBRARY
- Brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars in Grants, Donations, and Volunteers
- Provides world-class, award-winning library services
- Costs the Warren County taxpayer less
Common Sense says that the Samuels Library Public/Private Partnership is clearly the best choice for Warren County citizens.
Yet the BOS majority is now threatening to sign a contract with a for-profit library that will cost the Warren County taxpayer hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and contract penalties. The BOS majority has already wasted over $50,000 on this crusade, and with NO COMMON SENSE, they are planning to waste even more taxpayer dollars.
