Shane Boswell to Meet Voters at Front Royal Event on August 6

Voters in Virginia’s 31st House District will have a chance to meet candidate Shane Boswell in person on Tuesday, August 6, at the Stone Branch Center for the Arts in Front Royal. The meet and greet will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at 114 E Main Street and offers a relaxed setting for community members to speak directly with Boswell, learn more about his campaign, and voice concerns that matter most to them.

Boswell, a veteran and long-time civic leader in Clarke County, is making personal outreach a key part of his campaign. With a busy schedule that includes stops throughout the district, this event offers a valuable opportunity for Front Royal residents to engage with the candidate ahead of this fall’s elections.

“I’m running to serve and listen to the people of the 31st District,” Boswell said on his website. “The best way to represent my neighbors in Richmond is to hear directly from them.” His campaign emphasizes public service, family values, and local involvement—qualities he says are grounded in his experience both in the military and in his community work.

Boswell lives in Clarke County, where he is raising two sons who attend local public schools. That connection, he says, gives him a personal understanding of the challenges and strengths of Virginia’s education system. Education, along with economic development and supporting veterans, ranks high among his campaign priorities.

The event is open to all voters in the area and aims to foster open conversation in a welcoming environment. With elections approaching in November, Boswell is encouraging residents to take part in the democratic process by becoming informed and involved.

“We’re in an important moment,” he says. “People want real representation that reflects their concerns and values. I’m out there every day to make sure I understand those needs firsthand.”

The August 6 meet and greet is part of that effort. Light refreshments will be available, and campaign materials will be on hand for those looking to learn more about Boswell’s platform.
