Virginia State Police Weekly Operations Seize Guns, Drugs, and Cash
Virginia State Police reported another week of crime suppression efforts across the Commonwealth, with troopers and partner agencies recovering firearms, narcotics, and more than $21,000 in cash.
From June 3 through June 9, 2026, ongoing enforcement operations led to the recovery of seven firearms connected to criminal drug investigations. The firearms were valued at about $4,000. Authorities also seized $21,234 in U.S. currency.
Drug seizures during the same period included 1.6 ounces of cocaine, 126.2 pounds of marijuana, 4 ounces of fentanyl, and 2.1 pounds of methamphetamine. Police estimated the denied revenue from the seized drugs at $633,966.
The work involved Virginia State Police, State Police task forces, federal task forces, and assistance from local, state, and federal partners.
State Police said the ongoing operations are focused on disrupting criminal activity, supporting efforts to reduce violent crime, and improving public safety in communities across Virginia.
