Dennis George Claeys, 67, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Virginia Hills Church with Pastor Eric Reploeg officiating.

Mr. Claeys was born on September 2, 1958, in Rochester, New York, to Robert E. Claeys, Sr., and the late Roberta Lewis Claeys.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert E. Claeys, Jr. He was a member of Virginia Hills Church and owned Claeys Refrigeration for 17 years. He had worked in the refrigeration and HVAC industry for more than 40 years, including on military base commissaries across the East Coast.

Surviving is Dennis’ wife of 27 years, Tammy Jane Claeys; their daughter Mars Claeys; also, daughter Angie Burns Crain, husband Bryce Crain, sons Steven and Matthew Burns; daughter Vicky Clemons, husband Matt Clemons, son Devin Maslen and daughter Madison Maslen and granddaughter Loretta Maslen; son David Claeys, wife Katie Claeys, daughter Luna Claeys; and son Ryan Claeys, wife London Claeys, daughter Evie Claeys. Also surviving along with his father is his younger brother, Danny Claeys.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Virginia Hills Church, 737 Rockland Road, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
