Fussell Florist to Celebrate Grand Re-Opening on November 16

Front Royal’s beloved floral shop, Fussell Florist, is thrilled to invite the community to a Grand Reopening celebration on Thursday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event marks unveiling a beautifully remodeled store after a summer-long renovation, promising a fresh, inviting experience for all who enter.

Fussell Florist, a staple in Front Royal for over 75 years, has blossomed under the leadership of Katie Bonnet, who became the owner in 2021. Katie took on the responsibility of continuing Fussell’s legacy while adding her touches to create an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. “It’s been great to come into such a storied establishment and be supported by my talented staff and the greater community,” Katie shared enthusiastically. “Our new display room represents a vision I’ve had of warmth and hospitality.”

A Day Full of Fun, Flowers, and Community Spirit

The Grand Re-Opening will offer something for everyone in the family. As visitors explore the refreshed storefront, they’ll be treated to free coffee, apple cider, and cookies. The shop’s floral design team will also showcase their talents with live demonstrations throughout the day, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how they create some of Fussell’s most beautiful arrangements.

Guests will have the chance to see the store’s new products, which include a broader selection of seasonal flowers, special gift items, and floral accessories. Fussell will also offer exclusive discounts for the day and hold exciting giveaways.

The event is especially kid-friendly for families, with activities aimed at younger guests. Children 10 and under will receive a free bud vase arrangement and can enjoy face painting and crafts—a perfect way to nurture creativity and make a memorable experience at the florist.

Local Partners and Special Guests

Adding to the festivities, local food trucks Nonni’s Eats & Sweets and Grandma Cheri’s Ice Cream will be on-site, serving delicious treats for visitors to enjoy while they celebrate. For flower lovers, Linden Blooms Flower Farm will showcase their homegrown, fresh-cut flowers, allowing guests to purchase locally sourced blooms. The event will also feature a meet-and-greet with Front Royal Police Department’s Officer Meadows and his K9 partner, Marley, making it truly rooted in community connections.

Join Us in Celebrating a New Chapter

With this Grand Reopening, Katie and the Fussell Florist team are excited to continue serving Front Royal with the same dedication and quality Fussell has been known for over the past seven decades. This family-friendly celebration aims to unite the community to enjoy the updated space, celebrate local businesses, and experience the best in floral artistry.

So, whether you’re looking to support a long-standing local business, meet new friends, or enjoy a fun day out, mark your calendar and join Fussell Florist on November 16th to celebrate beauty, community, and tradition.
