The Salvation Army Seeks Food Donations, Volunteers for Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Published

on

The Salvation Army is gearing up for its annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner and is inviting everyone in the community to be part of this heartwarming tradition. Whether you’re in need of a hot Thanksgiving meal or simply want to join in for fellowship, all are welcome to attend.

To make this event a success, the Salvation Army is seeking donations of large trays of macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and bottled water. Monetary contributions are also being accepted to support the cause.

Volunteers are equally essential. Those interested in helping are asked to sign up online rather than showing up unannounced. Volunteer shifts are limited to 30 minutes to allow more people to participate.

“This event is about more than just a meal—it’s about coming together as a community,” said Jason Neale, the event coordinator.

For those interested in volunteering, sign-ups can be completed at this link. Anyone with questions about food or monetary donations can contact Jason Neale directly at 540-671-1129.

Join the Salvation Army this Thanksgiving to help ensure that no one in the community goes without a warm meal or a sense of belonging.
